Music Magazine Planning Ideas

What genre's of music will your magazine cover?
Rock music specifically pop punk as that is my preferred genre and since I am equipped with knowledge on this specific genre, it will help me make my music magazine.
Who is the target audience? How old are they? Where do they live? What are their interests?
My target audience is a unisex audience from ages 13-30 as this is the typically audience of most rock magazines. My target audience is universal and they share the same interests of bands, skateboarding, concerts and music.
What is the name of your magazine? Why? Connotations?
The name of my magazine will be 'PGP' standing for 'Pop Goes Punk' as this is a simple, one-worded name that is memorable and is directly related to the genre.
What will your masthead look like? Do you have any ideas for the fonts?
The masthead will be 'PGP' written in black, blog capitals.
What will be the focal image for your front cover and why?
My focal image will be three students armed with a electric guitar, bass guitar and drums. This image will be used as they would be the feature band for my front cover.
What photography will be required? Give details of shot type, angle and composition
A straight on, full body shot will be taken to capture the band in it's essence.
What mise en scene will be required? Location? Clothing? Make up? Use of colour?
An electric guitar, bass guitar and a drum kit will be used for props. A music room will be the location with the models wearing typical pop punk clothing (over-sized shorts, baseball caps, t-shirt, converses/vans) wearing no makeup.
What would be your sell lines? How will you entice your target audience?
My sell lines will include the interests of my target audience (bands, music, skateboarding, concerts) to entice the reader.
What items and feature articles would you need on your contents page?

What is the focus of your double page spread? interview? feature? reviews? ect)
An interview with the feature band with a short review positioned on the right side of the second page.
What photography will be required for the double page spread? Give specific details.
An image with close up of the front man with contrasting light (light on one side, dark on the other) from below so the front man is seen as superior. Two other shots are going to be taken with the band as a whole. One shot will be a head to torso shot with general lighting shot straight on and the other image taken similarly to the feature image on the front page.
